About the Lynn Valley Lions Club
Lions are volunteer members of clubs grouped under an international organization. Lionism began in 1917, with the ideal of service as a group to those in need without regard to politics, religion, race or personal interests. Today there are over 1.5 million members in 46,000 clubs in 207 countries or regions. For more information please see www.lcif.org.
The Lynn Valley Lions Club was chartered Oct. 27, 1970. Our 41 member club has continued to be a low-key community focused organization that has significantly contributed to local organizations, residents and communities. Our members work in partnership with sponsors such as Save On Foods, service organizations like Lynn Valley Community Association and Lynn Valley Legion together with other local lions clubs. We have one important goal - To serve and help others in need.
